Exclusively made for Renick Labs, each PTFE-encapsulated RL 372B stir bar has a proprietary rare earth-containing alloy core that "activates" in the presence of a strong magnetic field. Our "Flux-on-Demand" technology allows these magnetic stir bars to freely flow past each other (and be dispensed using a drop dispenser) but, once activated, couple strongly to the drive magnet of your stir plate or tumble stirrer.
Customer-provided solvent screen showcases the robustness of the PTFE coating in select solvents. As expected, the coating remains intact after exposure and stirring for 18.5h in solvents that Parylene struggles with.
